A road is to remain closed overnight following a vehicle fire earlier this afternoon (Wednesday, February 21).
Emergency services were called to a vehicle fire at around 2.45pm on the A448 Bromsgrove Highway heading towards Redditch.
The incident happened near the Headless Cross junction which was closed whilst emergency services were dealing with the incident.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We were called to a report of a car on fire on the Bromsgrove Highway in Redditch at around 2.45pm this afternoon (February 21).
"No injuries were reported. The road remains closed while the road is made safe."
According to Worcestershire County Council, the road is now not expected to reopen until tomorrow morning.
In an update shortly after 6pm, a spokesperson for Worcestershire County Council said: "The A448 slip road to Windmill Drive, Headless Cross, Redditch will stay closed overnight following an earlier vehicle fire. The road is expected to reopen tomorrow morning."
