POLICE have appealed for information after an arson attack on a house in Bromsgrove at the weekend.
A property was set alight in Blackmore Lane at around 1am on Saturday December 16.
West Mercia Police said the blaze caused extensive damage to the house, which resulted in the collapse of the first floor.
Investigating officer PC Roz Braithwaite said: “Thankfully the property was unoccupied, but it is surrounded by trees and other properties so the potential threat to others was high.
“I would like to see CCTV footage, doorbell footage and dashcam footage from around the time of the fire and I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen suspicious behaviour in the area.”
Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact PC Braithwaite by emailing roz.braithwaite@westmercia.police.uk or by calling 07970 709989.
Alternatively, information can be shared anonymously with the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555111 or by visiting website crimestoppers-org.uk
