A Redditch and Bromsgrove home care business is set for fresh success after securing its new headquarters.

Kingfisher Care, which provides help at home for over-65s, was set up by Deborah Harrison in 2017 after spending more than two decades in the care sector.

But after years of continued growth, she found herself looking for a new premises, which needed to be safe and spacious enough to accommodate her staff.

Ms Harrison said: “We work with several care organisations, including Worcestershire County Council, as well as our private clients. Some of our clients have disabilities and several of them are into their 100s.

“I was looking for somewhere that would be secure for the office team with a separate room that could be used for meetings.”

Thanks to the help of commercial property agency, John Truslove, the company have been able to secure a new five-year lease on a property at 3A Hepworth Park on Brook Street, which is in the Lakeside area of Redditch.

Ms Harrison has praised the work of the team and is hopeful that the latest move will help take the business to the next level and ensure they can continue to deliver much-needed services to those in the community.

She said: “The quality of our care has seen us securing more work and that growth prompted our move to these superb new premises which will provide a great base as we continue to expand.

“James from John Truslove really listened to what we needed and the first place he showed me around was just perfect. It was everything I was looking for.

“The landlord has been so helpful too. The process went incredibly smoothly, and we are delighted with our new home.”

James Hayes, from John Truslove, added: “Deborah was very clear about what she needed for her business and I immediately realised Hepworth Park would work for her.

“It is the ideal fit of tenant, premises and landlord and will help Deborah take her business to the next level.”
