POLICE responded to a concern for the safety of a gentleman on a bridge over the M42 near Bromsgrove.
Officers rushed to the bridge over the M42 near to Junction 1 Westbound this afternoon (Thursday, October 26).
Police who attended the bridge took the man to safety.
The M42 Westbound was closed whilst police attended the incident and thanked motorists for their patience.
They also thanked those who made calls to the police.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We received a call around 12.50pm this afternoon (26 October) with a concern for the safety of a gentlemen on the bridge over the M42 near to Junction 1, Westbound.
“Officers attended the bridge and have taken the man to safety”.
