UP and coming Bromsgrove athletes are set to gain support as part of a sports development programme.
Everyone Active’s Sporting Champions scheme has helped thousands of athletes to achieve their sporting potential by providing free access to Everyone Active’s 200 plus leisure facilities, including Bromsgrove Sport and Leisure Centre.
Among the athletes accepted on the scheme in Bromsgrove this year include Chris Bright, an international Futsal player from Redditch.
Chris said: “The access to the leisure and gym facilities has meant that I've been able to continue to follow training plans with the use of high-quality equipment on a regular basis. It makes a huge difference to the conditioning you're able to do. It enables me to stay playing at the level I do into my 30s.”
Alongside free access to Everyone Active centres, ‘Sporting Champions’ will also have the chance to receive mentoring and guidance from a panel of elite athletes.
