A man from Bromsgrove, Phil Dolphin, has set up a Go Fund Me appeal to raise money for a charity which supports his son.
The charity, Narcolepsy UK, supports those who suffer from narcolepsy, cataplexy and idiopathic hypersomnia.
Mr Dolphin is running the London Marathon in 2023 on a ballot place, and he would like to use the opportunity to raise money for the charity which he says has provided amazing support for his family over the past five-and-a-half years.
So far, Mr Dolphin has raised more tthan £300 for the charity which he says provides vital support for those who are newly diagnosed, including advice on benefits, education, work, driving, and day to day living.
