A BODY of a man has been discovered in Wythall.

West Mercia Police have confirmed that the body of a male was discovered by a member of the public this morning.

The body was found in the Middle Lane area and reported to police at approximately 10am.

A large section of Middle Lane has been closed by police while enquiries are carried out.

The circumstances surrounding the man's death are currently being investigated.

A police spokesman said they are curretnly working to identify the individual and contact his next of kin.
