POLICE in Bromsgrove are appealing for witnesses, after three men robbed a shop in Catshill last week.

The incident occurred on Friday, October 2 at approximately 10pm, when three men walked into a shop on Woodrow Lane in Catshill.

The men then verbally threatened the two members of staff, before ordering them to find and open the safe.

The offenders removed a substantial amount of cash from the safe, before leaving the store on foot in the direction of Green Lane. There were no weapons involved, and nobody was injured during the course of the robbery.

One of the men is described as wearing a black balaclava, with a dark-coloured jacket, blue jeans, black and white trainers, and black gloves.

A second man is thought to have been wearing a dark-coloured hooded top which obscured his face. The top had white piping on the zip and pockets. He was also wearing dark-coloured trousers, white and black trainers, and white and grey gloves.

The third man is believed to have been wearing a black balaclava, a blue jacket with white writing across the back of the shoulders, grey jogging bottoms, white trainers and black gloves. He is also thought to have been carrying a cream and black rucksack.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who might have been shopping in the store directly before it happened is asked to contact West Mercia Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting incident number 788S of October 2, 2015.
