A WEEK of events celebrating hard-working NHS staff in Worcestershire is to be held in September.
The week will kick off on Sunday, September 20 and will include a range of events organised by Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NSH Trust, including a staff appreciation day and long service awards.
Chairman of the trust, which runs Redditch's Alexandra Hospital, Worcestershire Royal Hospital, and Kidderminster Hospital, Harry Turner said: “It’s been a tough year for NHS staff, but that’s why it’s more important than ever to engage with and take every opportunity to recognise the excellent work done by them, day in, day out to care for the people of this county.
“It’s an opportunity for the whole county to come together and celebrate everything that’s good about the NHS.
“I hope everyone across the county is able to take part in some way.”
