A BROMSGROVE pub's doorman who ejected a unconscious teenager onto a street has been cleared of causing grievous bodily harm.
Amiruldin Hosseni denied that he had used an unlawful headlock on 17-year-old Curtis Holdum at the Dog and Pheasant in Bromsgrove on July 27 last year.
The married father-of-four, of Wrekin View Road, Dudley, appeared at Worcester Crown Court and claimed that he had used only a "bear hug" in carrying Mr Holdum from the pub and depositing him outside.
The court was told that the teenager was dragged backwards, losing his shoes and losing consciousness. He was unable to protect himself with his arms and hit his face on the ground, breaking his jaw.
Hosseni was adamant he had not used a head-lock, but witnesses disputed the defendant's claim that he had merely used an arm lock in removing Mr Holdum from the pub.
A jury returned a unanimous not guilty verdict after an hour, at the end of a three-day trial.
