THE Abbey Stadium will be holding its next open day to encourage mental health and fitness for everyone.

On Saturday, May 28 the Abbey Stadium will open its doors to members and non-members offering free classes to try including zumba, studio cycling, bootcamp, mobility, thai chi, and yoga as well as many more.

Councillor Bill Hartnett, leader of the Redditch Council, said: “We know exercise is a key factor in maintaining physical and mental health so we’re pleased to be supporting local mental health charities.

"Our open days always have a really great atmosphere with the buzz of people attending classes. It’s a chance for visitors to find out what’s on offer at the Abbey and benefit from some of the great discounts during the day.”

Charity collections and a raffle will be on offer with donations going to local causes and mental health charities.

Refreshments will be available throughout the day.

Residents should be aware that some classes will need to be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.
